Every woman is entitled to maternity leave.
She should inform the employer when her baby is due.
She can go on maternity leave 3 months before the baby is born and one month after the baby is born.

The employer does not have to pay the worker for the months she is off work.
However, a good employer and a good worker may agree that she will receive a part of the salary for the time she is off work.

Presently the Unemployment Insurance Fund does not apply to domestic workers.
Your should therefore negotiate this payment in your contract when you start work.
