Night work refers to the work done between 22h00 and before 05h00 the following day.
Children can work at night for a maximum of three nights only.
Written permission is required from the parents or legal guardians of the child employee to work at night.
The parents or legal guardians of the child must receive written explanation from the employer to explain why the child has to work at night.
The employer must compensate the child by giving an agreed allowance to perform at night.

What play breaks must be given?

It is the employer’s responsibility to provide a safe recreation area for children at the workplace.
