Research on scavenging children

In response to the question concerning whether research should be conducted amongst children involved in scavenging / recycling to determine the extent of the problem and possible solutions, 96% were in favour, 3% did not answer and 1.3% were not in favour. The participant not in favour of research provided the following reason: "It has been researched. Implementation of effective programmes to reunify the children with family or communities of origin is important".
